Mission Regional Elder Mobility Alliance (REMA) is coalition of agencies representing aging/disability and transit professionals dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in southeast Michigan through the maximizing of mobility options and the delivery of multi-modal transportation services. REMA envisions a society that recognizes the economic and civic value of transit and fully supports affordable, accessible service for all and a transportation network for southeast Michigan that is economically, environmentally, and socially sustainable, regionally seamless and incorporates mass transportation, pedestrian facilities, para-transit options, and cleaner/greener mobility options. Grant Awards REMA received a Senior Engagement Program (SEP) award from Community Foundation of Southeast Michigan (CFSEM) to pursue Senior Mobility Outreach Programs in 4 pilot communities: Hamtramck, Inkster, St. Clair Shores, and Waterford. |
