Parking at Hannan House

Hannan House has limited parking behind the building for visitors to organizations and programs located at Hannan House.  Priority is given to those 60 years of age and over or handicapped (with sticker). If you are attending a meeting at Hannan House please check with the host organization to see if parking is available at Hannan House for the meeting or if you should use one of the nearby parking lots.  Patrons of the Hannan Cafe who under age 60 are not allowed to park in the Hannan lot. 

 

OTHER PARKING

Inexpensive parking is also available within easy walking distance of Hannan House.  The following are three parking lots that provide affordable parking.

 

John D. Dingell VA Medical Center Parking

Located approximately 1 block west of Hannan House with entrance off Hancock and John R.  This is a parking structure rather than surface lot. Obtain ticket on entry to structure. Take ticket to the inside of VA lobby closest to structure and deposit money into machine to validate ticket. Retain ticket and present to the parking attendant when exiting structure.

Woodward Parking Located approximately 1/2 block east of Hannan House on West Forest between Cass and Woodward, just west of Woodward on the north side of Forest (Forest is one way going West). This is a surface lot and you pay attendant when you park.

Cass Avenue
Located approximately 1.5 blocks from Hannan House, this is a surface lot. It has pay slots for corresponding parking spaces. You can also pay attendant when you park.

STAFF ONLY: Church Lot behind the Congregational Church locaed on north side of Forest just East of Woodward Avenue.
Staff must display Hannan Parking Tag.

Persons parking without a Hannan Tag will be towed at the owner's expense.
